about

My interest for the spiritual and natural practices came from my family roots in Indonesia. They got on a boat in the ’50 and crossed the ocean to go back to the motherland they had never seen. To the cold and sober country they brought with them a connection to the spirits and a love for mother earth.

I see life as a beautiful path to grow into the best version of your self. When I started walking the path I was impatient and wanted to be enlightened right away, knowing it all. In search of happiness I was unhappy, not realising happiness was already there. I had to overcome my share of struggles, teaching me I was the key to feeling whole, content and full of joy. It took me a long time before I could make the transition from my head to my heart.

In teaching yoga and helping others finding their way back to their bodies and heart, to live a healthy, joyful life, I have found my purpose. All of my being is here to share this with you. I can only teach and share what I have experienced and I am forever grateful for the teachings that were passed on to me. I humbly share the ancient wisdom of the masters.

Eastern philosophy and practices have given us tools to live happily and with ease. To stay calm amidst the turbulence life throws at us. To listen to our body and take good care of it. Most practices were passed on from master onto student. I am grateful to learn from wonderful teachers and humbly pass on my own experiences.

Iyengar yoga
BKS Iyengar brought yoga to the western world in the 60’ and is viewed as the founder of restorative yoga. His knowledge and experience is unsurpassed and his teachings are an endless source of inspiration. Iyengar Yoga looks at the individual and makes the asana fit the person, not the other way around. In that manner Yoga can be truly wholesome. Where your mind, body and soul are brought in union to elevate to the highest levels. Or more practical, where your mind finds peace, your body can heal and your heart will open.

Yoga nidra
Yoga Nidra allows you to effortlessly transcend into a deep restorative state where recovery and true relaxation take place. You are guided to drop into a state of consciousness where the body naturally recovers and heals and you find true rest. The best thing about it is that you don’t have to do anything for it. You can just lie yourself down and listen to a guiding voice. Yoga Nidra allows you to explore deeper levels of your consciousness and connect with your true self.

There have been numerous scientific studies about the effects of Yoga Nidra. These are some of the benefits you may experience:

reduces stress and anxiety
improves quality of sleep
promotes deep physical and
emotional healing
increases concentration
and memory
enhances creativity

Tibetan energetic healing
Rigpa Energetic Healing was practiced and passed on by Tibetan monks only for thousands of years until recently it has been spread further. It is a powerful method to eliminate energy blocks and raise one’s frequency to a higher level of health, happiness and well-being. REH is inseparably connected to Buddhist teachings of being connected to your heart and living in complete freedom. Liberated from fears, in love only.

All these practices work on an energetic level with the physical, emotional and mental body and they reinforce each other in their healing abilities. They are united in me and every expression of myself would be a reflection of that. In my teachings and my guidance they will always be interwoven.
